> What an exciting year it has been so far at Boileau Business Solutions!
As we head into the home stretch of 2007 and look ahead to the next year it is both inspiring and daunting to contemplate the many changes underway at Boileau’s.
Those who have cause to travel along Sir Donald Bradman Drive to and from the Adelaide Airport will see construction of the new Boileau and Splash of Colour headquarters finally underway at the Marion Road intersection. Since the inception of the project over two and a half years ago plans have been modified and reconfigured to maximise the potential of this fabulous site. How exciting to see work progressing from my office where I have the perfect box-seat for all the action!
Project Manager Ian Gemmell of Gemmell Consulting has the task well in hand in conjunction with architects Hardy Milazzo, Candetti Constructions, Adelaide Plumbing and Civil and our project team. The talents of daughter Melanie Boileau will be showcased with her contribution as Interior Designer, and building is expected to be completed by the end of May 2008. You won’t help but notice the growth and development over coming months – see below for stunning artist impressions of the building’s interior and exterior for a preview of what’s ahead.
Once again in 2007, Boileau’s contribution to the community extends beyond the immediate business sector, with significant and rewarding involvement as sponsors with many South Australian organisations. This year we not only support the Royal Society of the Blind through the Young Business Leaders Program, but our own participant Stacy Sargeant and her involvement in this challenging endeavour.
Stacy and her fundraising committee have planned a showcase of community events to raise monies for the RSB, with one of the first being an auction for exclusive and limited tickets to the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra’s ‘Serengeti’ performance and an overnight stay on the grounds of Monarto Zoological Park. Michael and I will host the winning guests in tent accommodation following the performance, waking in the morning to a gourmet bush breakfast and guided tour. We are delighted to collaborate with the Royal Adelaide Zoo on this and other initiatives in coming months, and planning is already underway for the ‘Boileau Breakfast Series’ to be held throughout March 2008 at the Adelaide Zoo site.
In November it was again time for the Australian Cricket Masters Invitation XI event at the glorious Chateau Tanunda as part of the Great Australian Wine Adventure. The Boileau ‘Winners and Winemakers’ Celebrity Golf Day on November 22nd preceded a day of cricket viewing pleasure in luxury marquees as Australia took on the ‘Rest-of-the-World’. Participants rubbed shoulders with past cricketing greats like Michael Slater, Arjuna Ranatunga and Courtney Walsh, and once again the funds raised of $34,000.00 from both events have been contributed to the David Hookes Foundation and the Hutt St Centre Foundation.
We have recently commenced the implementation of a new computer platform through Microsoft Dynamics with the completion date planned for February 2008; we trust our existing and potential clients will follow our progress with interest over the next few months as we further cement our reputation of service excellence and exceeding customer expectations in the South Australian market.
The implementation of this dynamic system will provide our staff with huge efficiency increases in their daily tasks which in turn will provide increased ‘customer service’ to you our valued clients. We believe this system will prove to be a benchmark for like-minded South Australian organisations. Boileau means continuous improvement as we continue to be ‘Leaders in connected business technologies’.
During 2007 we have cemented our Premium Partnership with Telstra and have demonstrated that we can provide ‘service excellence’ in the management of the Telstra portfolio allocated to BBS by continually achieving the top performance position nationally.
Our new partnerships with Acer and Microsoft are developing rapidly. Our I.T. team is totally focused on a growth trajectory for 2008 providing I.T. services and hardware to our large base of SME Businesses in SA with the continued focus on ‘service excellence’ that our long-term clients have become accustomed to from our Fuji Xerox division.
Over 18 years our partnership with Fuji Xerox keeps on achieving great heights and 30th November was the end of our budget year ; once again BBS achieving over 115% and retaining our position in the top six (6) dealerships nationally.
None of these achievements would be possible without the dedication and focused efforts of our Sales, Marketing, Service and Admin teams pulled together by the eagle eye of our General Manager Michael Scheid ~ I would like to thank each and every one of them for their efforts.
Thank you also to our valued partners FUJI XEROX AUSTRALIA, NEC AUSTRALIA, TELSTRA and our new partner ACER Computers, for their continued support of our business and to you, OUR VALUED CLIENTS ..............”OUR ONLY MEASURE OF SUCCESS IS OUR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION”
It is now nearing Christmas Day and the festive season has already begun, so at this time I would like to extend to each one of you and your loved ones, the most JOYOUS CHRISTMAS SEASON and much HEALTH, HAPPINESS AND PROSPERITY FOR 2008................
